Keep Hold
Although I didn’t make the final cut, my piece ‘Keep Hold’ was shortlisted for the 2023 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It was the first time I’d entered and was proud to make the shortlist, ahead of 12,500 other artists. Delivering my unusual piece from my home on the Isle of Man, to the RA in London for judging was an memorable journey! The whole experience was wonderful, and despite my work not being chosen to be hung I’m so proud of how far I got, and of the support I received from the local community.
